The creators of the Lean4Life program, Ron and Dawn Kaufman, lost a combined 180 pounds within one year. Join them on their journey to lifelong weight loss.
I (Ron) was a fat kid that grew into a fat adult. Over the years I endured the following:
- I hated going to the movies or restaurants. I was embarrassed that I didn’t fit into the seats. It was the same for flying. I would have needed two seats. So I just stayed home.
- I was ridiculed for my weight. Everywhere I went I was always the “fat” guy.
- I had no energy. I would have trouble making it up the stairs without losing my breath.
It seemed that I was always on a diet. Over a period of 30 years I spent thousands of dollars on personal trainers, diet plans (low carbs, no fat , even fasts), diet pills, diet shakes and prepackaged diet foods. I would always lose some weight. Maybe 20 pounds or so, but I would always eventually fail. With each new failure I would gain back all of the weight I had lost plus some.
Then something happened. My size 40 pants no longer fit. At this time I knew I had to do something different and I had to do it now! This is when we created the Lean4Life program. Over the year that followed I lost over 125 pounds and began training for my first marathon.
My wife (Dawn) has helped make this program simple and easy to follow. She has developed recipes that taste great and are easy to prepare. Actually your whole family will love them. I know ours does. Dawn has even added a section full of snacks and candy, these treats help keep us satisfied and on track. We also share with you the restaurants that we eat at, including fast food and still lose weight.
We have never felt deprived on our Lean4Life program. Actually following a program that lets you eat candy and fast food and still lose weight is a pretty amazing feeling. We eat the food we love and continue to lose weight.
